In case you have missed images from our Aberystwyth visit on Instagram, here are some of the highlights + some extras.
One of the best attractions (in our opinion) in town is the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, it is the the longest funicular electric cliff railway in Britain. It takes you to the top of Constitution Hill from where you can enjoy quite spectacular view of tow and Cardigan Bay (as on the panoramic image above). The views are amazing, there are some additional attractions to keep you entertained. You can enjoy drinks and refreshments at the Y Consti restaurant. Another great attraction is the fantastic camera obscura with a 360 degree view around Aberystwyth.

It was a very enjoyable visit, unfortunately we didn’t get a change to visit the nearby Vale of Rheidol Railway which operates amazing steam trains in the area. We got quite lucky tho and as we have seen one of the steam engines on our way back home.
